TGWG"SM"@ (TWO GUYS WITH GUITARS) are back at the infamous Sidebar Grill in Jasper Georgia!

Hello all, sorry for the delay but Russ and Roger have been up to their "elbows in alligators" for a few weeks, we've been booked solid, but we are back and looking forward "One Mo' time" to see our good friends at the Sidebar Grill.!!!

FRIDAY---June 1st ----9:00pm till ? We may be on the deck, weather permitting so come prepared. It can get a bit chilly at times..

Saturday---June 2nd ---9:00pm till 11:41.04pm (just kidding, we will play until the cows come home! You already know that...)

Friday ---June 15th ----9:00pm till ? (Our fingers get tired.)

Saturday ---June 16th ----9:00pm till ? (Russ's wife, Lane, drags his sorry butt home!)

Seriously, we play till everyone has had their fun so ending time is very flexible...

Monday--- June 4th ---At Big Canoe 6:00pm till 10:00pm. Sorry gang, this is a members only club but I'm gonna see if we can't stretch that just alittle...I'll let everyone know..._

Monday---June 25th ---At Big Canoe 6:00pm till 10:00 pm..Russ, you think one big canoe can fit us both with our guitars?

Bill Pound (musician extraordinaire) and Charlie (owner of the Sidebar Grill) for allowing TGWG@ to sit in with Bill at the Sidebar a few weeks ago.. That Charlie has always got his thinking cap on!

Bill..many thanks.. Russ and I had a blast, hope we can do it again sometime.

Everyone...please make sure to go to the Sidebar Grill to support Bill Pound also. Let's support our local musicians and of course let's all go to the Sidebar Grill for some of the best food you will ever eat. Lots of drinks, food, great ambience and good people. (Well, Kevin the bartender can be a pain at times, you know..he rides a Harley and I have a Valkyrie, he just can't stand it!) All you've got to do is walk in the door and your right a home...

Pat.. (another "bartendress" at the Sidebar, say hi to her when you get there).....we love you..but you know that already..!

A special thanks to Skip Weitzen for driving 52 miles (one way) just to hear the boys in TGWG@. Skip..you Da Man...sold anything lately?

TGWG@ performed and had the honor of running sound for some great and I mean great talent at the Canton Music Festival earlier this month.. don't miss it next year..its getting bigger and better all the time...and by the way..we are not trying to sell these bands to you..in our opinion these are bands that have come into our town to perform and deserve special recognition... and I mean they deserve it in our musical opinion...

Some of the bands that just blew us away..there were many more..these are our top choices.

Freak The Jones--who will be opening for Mother's finest at the Tabernacle Atlanta Georgia on the 16th..this is a trio of monster musicians with some of the best original music I have heard in quite some time. (Other than my good friend Loren woods on Mp3).. In my opinion these guys are right on the edge of making it big. To me, they have there own unique sound, great vocals, guitar and double-kick drumming, and these guys have something to say. I believe their web site is http://www.freakthejones.com Strange name yes..? I think its great...

If you love great music you've got to check them out!

Directions to the SideBar Grill Jasper Georgia:

Leaving from Woodstock ( Highway 92)..take 575 (32 miles) North until you come

to the "second" stoplight. Its kind of surprising because you are on the

interstate (575) but the further North you head the more rural it

becomes. Its an easy drive with no traffic and be careful of your speed.

You will see a sign at the 2nd light that says "Jasper" to the right. Turn

right then follow this road until you come to your first stoplight

(approximately 1 mile). You are now in "bigtime downtown Jasper". Take a

left then an immediate right and on your right will be the Sidebar Grill

directly across from the police station. As I stated its a first class

place, very safe and comfortable. 770-253-3663 (Sidebar Grill)

Well..another great weekend for "Two Guys With Guitars" !

Our e-mail list is growing fast! And we want more addresses!

Russ and I want to thank you all for making last Friday and Saturday night "a blast" at the Sidebar Grill in Jasper. We are "small but mighty" as Russ would say and we thrive on the support and enthusiasm of our "loyal fans"....As always we appreciate and enjoy the "open mic" part of the show...special thanks to Katie Waldroup (8 years old) and Stan (more than 8) for strutting their stuff as always.

And please ignore the cantankerous bartender (Kevin)........... (Just kidding Kevin) "You Da Man" !

We are looking for more talent also! Never let it be said that Russ and Rog would not give you your "first break" in the business!

We have some exciting additions coming to our performance shortly, including some "special effects" and widget boxes that make music so much fun..(Ever heard of "Rocky Mountain Way" by Joe Walsh using the Heil Talkbox?....and let's not forget the infamous Peter Frampton). Note doublers, voice harmony converters...its all gonna be a blast... all coming very soon...!

I have included some directions from Woodstock Georgia to the "Diamond in the Rough" the infamous Sidebar Grill...great food, great people and good times are had by all who walk through the doors..........

Russ and I are booked yet again on Friday April 20th and Saturday April 21st @ the SideBar Grill.. 8:00 til ? and look forward to seeing our good friends "one mo' time"....

Also the boys from TGWG will be playing the Canton Festival again this year in May..(exact date to follow)...
